Despite their abundance, neutrinos interact very feebly with other matter, making them difficult to detect. This characteristic is what piqued the scientific community’s interest: if we could analyze neutrinos more effectively, what revelations might lie in store regarding the universe's constitution and the nature of matter itself? The anomalies surrounding neutrinos, such as their hypothesized mass, oscillation, and their role in the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the cosmos, beckon further exploration, which DUNE aspires to undertake.
