Community Response and Continued Activism
With a community already fraught with anxiety over the possibilities of ongoing raids, many locals have expressed their outrage and concern. Activist groups are working tirelessly to provide support to affected families and advocate for lasting changes and protections for undocumented immigrants in the region.
Efforts are underway as these organizations have reached out to the operators of the Clark Bottling Group and ICE for commentary on the recent events. However, as of now, there has been no response from either party concerning the number of arrests or the specific circumstances surrounding the raids.
