Understanding the Voter Demographics of Los Angeles: Insights from Focus Groups
In the summer of 2022, a series of focus groups were conducted with swing voters across diverse demographics in Los Angeles. Participants included white men, white women, Latino men, and Latino women. The discussions revealed stark contrasts in priorities and attitudes towards the mayoral race, particularly regarding homelessness and crime, which dominated the concerns of nearly all participants.
