Part 3/9:
Just three days later, as mysteriously as he had disappeared, Peter reappeared in his backyard, sitting by the bushes. Mary rushed to him, overwhelmed with emotion, but she quickly noticed something was amiss. Despite the rain that had poured down for two days straight, Peter’s clothes were completely dry and, perplexingly, not his at all.
Peter was taken to the hospital, where doctors discerned that aside from significant amnesia, he was physically fine — but his memory of where he had been and how he had returned was wiped clean. Peter's bewilderment grew as he came to terms with the fact that he couldn't recollect the events around his disappearance, let alone the strange clothes he wore.
