Part 5/7:
The changing regulatory environment in Europe presents a glimmer of hope for the Cybertruck’s future broader accessibility. Recently, the European Parliament has approved new regulations allowing individuals with a standard driver's license to operate electric vehicles weighted up to 4.25 tons. Given that the Cybertruck has a weight slightly under 3 tons, there’s a possibility of a pathway to broader registration—even when accounting for passenger and cargo load.
So, while the regulatory landscape remains fluid, there’s reason to believe that as policies gradually adjust to accommodate heavier electric vehicles, we could continue to see the Cybertruck, and potentially other EVs, find their way to more European markets.
