The CRA empowers Congress to disapprove new regulations issued by federal agencies. Through this legislative tool, Congress can effectively nullify previous regulations, which can be particularly advantageous for a new administration seeking to undo the policies of its predecessor. During the discussion, it was indicated that there are currently around 10 to 15 potential recommendations for CRA applications that are under review.
