My father was emblematic of the hardworking individuals who laid the foundation of our livelihoods. Growing up as an old-school farmer, he lived a life defined by labor and dedication. Over the years, he transitioned from farm work to railway jobs, and eventually became a superintendent overseeing the construction of houses. His strength and silent demeanor shaped my understanding of diligence and responsibility.
Though he was not a man of many words, the weight of what he said often had a lasting impact. It did not take long for me to recognize that actions often speak louder than words. As I navigated my own career, I absorbed valuable lessons from our time together, particularly on the golf course—our cherished bonding space.
