Part 6/8:
Comfort is subjective but critical. The reviewer evaluated each sock while walking to gauge fit and comfort. Darn Tough, Minus 33, and Farm to Feet were noted as the most comfortable options. Notably, Darn Tough was appreciated for its snug fit but experienced slight slippage. The REI, Time May Tail, and Alvada received lower marks due to fit issues.
Durability Tests
Wash Test
The socks were subjected to a washing machine cycle that would challenge their durability. The Darn Tough socks showed signs of pilling more than others but overall maintained a reasonable state compared to the competitors. Notably, several competitors like the Fox River and Aldi socks held up well post-wash.
