In this particular instance, he did not hold back when he remarked that if fans believe Star Wars was ruined, they should blame Hamill, not Disney. He specifically pointed out that the idea of Luke being gay was not part of the original storyline established by George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, and accused Hamill of forsaking his character's authenticity in pursuit of attention from the "woke crowd."
