Joseph Fermage was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1972. By the time he was a teenager, he had already founded a software company called Serius, which he sold for a staggering $22 million in 1995. At merely 23, Fermage established US Web, an IT consulting firm that flourished amid the dot-com boom. During its peak valuation, US Web reached over $2 billion, offering website-building services to more than half of the Fortune 500 companies.
