Perhaps the most glaring flaw of Brave New World lies in its writing. The villain, Samuel Sterns, is characterized as a super-genius, yet the execution of his plans is riddled with inconsistencies and implausibilities. What should be a well-crafted plot gives way to ridiculous contrivances that undermine the entire narrative. The film’s climactic moments feel derivative and unsatisfying, and, ultimately, lack the clever plotting expected from the MCU.
