Acausal Connection: The link between these events is not causal; it cannot be traced back to one event causing the other.
Temporal Co-occurrence: Importantly, these events must occur together in time—a crucial aspect often overlooked in casual references to synchronicity.
This last point is particularly significant; synchronicity, derived from the Greek words "syn" (together) and "kronos" (time), implies a "falling together in time" of events that are not merely coincidental.
