With both bikes now in our possession, the focus shifted towards reviving the MX250, which posed a greater challenge due to its CDI ignition system. The initial step? Confirming the engine's condition and ensuring we had a spark. After checking the possibilities, we were relieved to find that the engine was free, had compression, and, most importantly, produced a spark – an encouraging start.
Discovering the History
Among the finds at Diane’s place were some incredible pieces of history: her husband’s old racing jersey and leathers that showcased his motocross involvement, reflecting the sport's rich past that resonates with today’s enthusiasts.
