Despite facing personal tragedies, such as the loss of his first wife and the challenges posed by deteriorating health, Euler remained unwavering in his pursuit of knowledge. He continued his prolific writing until his final moments in 1783, when he passed away after suffering a stroke at the age of 76. His last words were a poignant acknowledgment of his mortal condition—"Ich sterbe," or "I am dying."
