Alongside indigenous polytheism, Christianity and Judaism also influenced Arabian spirituality. The spread of Christianity, attributed to trade relations and missionary activities, saw the establishment of strong Christian communities in regions such as Najran. Similarly, Jewish migration into Arabia, particularly in the Hijaz region, shaped societal dynamics and even prompted conversions among Arabs.
An intriguing component of pre-Islamic religious life was the Hanifi movement, a monotheistic belief system that rejected idolatry, possibly laying the groundwork for the later rise of Islam. This movement, while not as widespread as others, highlighted the attempts within certain communities to seek a singular divine worship.
