Next is Jersey Mike's Arena in Piscataway, New Jersey, which serves as the home of Rutgers basketball. Opened in 1977, it has a seating capacity of 8,000, making it the second smallest in the Big Ten. The arena's external structure is somewhat unconventional but not overly shocking. Inside, however, the seating chart presents an unexpected surprise.
The seating continues high on the sides of the court without traditional decks, creating a stark contrast between the abundance of seats on one end and the fewer on the opposite side.
