Part 6/10:
Sobrato Center, home to the University of San Francisco basketball teams, is an arena that opened in 1958 and has a capacity of just 3,000. Although small, it boasts a distinctive atmosphere with video boards located in the corners, creating a unique viewing experience. The second level of seating provides a curious perspective, almost as if the spectators are looking in on the action through windows.
Alumni Arena: The U-Shaped Enigma
Eastern Kentucky's Alumni Arena is a striking example of an unusual basketball venue. With a capacity of 6,500, it integrates a u-shaped seating arrangement that feels oddly dispersed, particularly because of the wall at one end of the court. The wood design of the ceiling adds an old-fashioned flair that intrigued visitors.
