After living in Las Vegas for a year, we’ve experienced firsthand the advantages and disadvantages of our choices. Initially, we had considered moving to Cape Coral due to nostalgia and familial connections—my family previously owned a home there. However, the financial implications were simply too weighty.
In hindsight, we had previously lived in a relatively small California home (around 1,200 square feet on two stories) and were aiming for more space. By opting for a 3,500-square-foot house in Las Vegas, we significantly improved our living conditions without creating a financial burden.
