Critics argue that merely branding a film as “for kids” does not excuse a lack of substance or narrative coherence. Children deserve stories that inspire and challenge them, not a disjointed collection of colored visuals that fail to provide meaningful experiences. When compared to classics like “Hercules” and “Mulan,” which resonate with strong themes and character development, "Snow White" feels shockingly deficient.
