Lena’s own affinity for Nazism was evident—not only did she support her husband publicly, but she stood beside him through the grim atrocities carried out during the war. Tragically, Reinhard Heydrich’s life came to a brutal end in Prague on June 4, 1942, following a daring assassination attempt.
