Part 2/10:
Recently, Tesla released its Q1 production numbers for China, reporting insured vehicles at 21,000 units. This figure represents a substantial increase from previous weeks, such as the 15,000 to 17,000 range. Interestingly, the company has now surpassed its year-to-date figures from the previous year, suggesting an encouraging upward trajectory for production capacity.
Analysts expressed cautious optimism about these numbers; however, there’s still a marked weakness present in the European and U.S. markets. The Chinese figures are promising but do not imply that Tesla will achieve wildly ambitious targets, such as 450,000 delivered units in Q1.
