Part 2/8:
Tesla's production stats for the first quarter of 2025 showcase production of approximately 345,000 vehicles, primarily the Model 3 and Model Y, alongside deliveries of nearly 324,000. The gap of over 20,000 vehicles between production and deliveries is not ideal, indicating a potential slowdown in the company’s operational efficiency.
The performance in the other vehicle categories, which includes the Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck, was even less encouraging. With a production of 17,161 vehicles and just 13,000 delivered, this marks a stark decrease from the previous year when Production was at 21,000 with 17,000 deliveries. This slip, particularly for the Cybertruck after a year of ramp-up, raises alarms about consumer interest and production adjustments.
