Construction of the ISS involved multiple components from various international partners, resulting in a well-integrated structure that showcased the best of technology from many nations. The joint effort saw America construct the Unity and Destiny modules, while Europe and Japan contributed laboratories, Columbus and Kaibō, along with Canada's construction of the sophisticated robotic arm essential for building and maintaining the station.
