Both Boomer and Gio were particularly critical of head coach Tom Thibodeau’s decisions late in the game. With key players Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson sidelined in critical moments, the duo expressed frustration over Thibodeau's lack of timeouts when he could have brought them back in to make impactful contributions. Boomer pointed out that having their two clutch players on the bench while the game slipped away was inexcusable, especially in a must-win scenario at home.
