Part 2/10:
Ebbets Field, located at 55 Sullivan Place in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood, stood proudly for 47 years, hosting numerous sports organizations from the Brooklyn Robins to the celebrated Brooklyn Dodgers. It became the backdrop for the breaking of Major League Baseball’s color barrier and was the venue for nine World Series. Before the conception of Ebbets Field, Brooklyn had already laid substantial groundwork for a rich baseball culture, engaging in professional baseball since 1883.
