The Semi's ability to deliver up to 25 kilowatts of output means it can power reefer units directly, enhancing operational efficiency. Tesla aims to ensure that charging costs are competitive, emphasizing that the cost per kilowatt-hour should consistently be lower than gasoline, an important factor for fleets that prioritize operating expenses. Plans are in place for 46 new charging sites, focusing on key freight corridors.
