In the end, while Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning disappoints with its convoluted plotting and awkward pacing, it retains enough spectacular stunts to warrant a viewing, especially in theaters. Nevertheless, Tom Cruise shines as a figure of gratitude and hope for a Hollywood that has lost its way, warranting applause for his efforts to steer the industry back on course.
Despite the mixed feelings about his latest film, many hope for better triumphs in the next chapter of Cruise's career—after all, Hollywood could benefit from more stars—and more importantly, more gratitude—just like him.
