Any exploratory probes dispatched to scout for livable worlds would do so only after extensive time delays, further distancing our aspirations from immediate reality.
Ultimately, the idea that colonizing another planet could provide a solution to Earth’s problems emerges as naïve. Rather than looking toward the stars, it becomes clear that our focus should be on developing sustainable practices and policies that can preserve the world we currently inhabit.
