The finale of this uprising brings about a climactic and Darwinian struggle for dominance at the Golden Gate Bridge. While the apes emerge victorious, the repercussions lead to the rapid spread of a virus, the Simeon Flu, that annihilates much of human civilization. Caesar’s leadership evolves as he steers his kind into a new age, promising an era where apes live by the creeds: “Ape not kill ape” and “Apes together strong.”
