To understand the legend, we must rewind to 1899, when inventor Nikola Tesla was conducting experiments on wireless transmission in Colorado Springs. During his work, he claimed to receive a repeating radio signal that didn’t seem to originate from Earth. Most would dismiss this as noise or interference; however, Tesla interpreted it as potential communication from extraterrestrial sources.
Fast forward to the 1920s, when amateur radio operators began experiencing bizarre long echoes. These echoes carried delayed responses that baffled scientists and enthusiasts alike, leading many to theorize that an artificial object in orbit was reflecting these signals back to Earth.
