Part 2/11:
In 1979, a young Roberta Williams embarked on a gaming journey that would radically alter the landscape of interactive entertainment. Inspired by “Colossal Cave Adventure,” the first text-based adventure game, Roberta envisioned a game that melded compelling storytelling with graphical elements. Her husband, Ken Williams, a skilled programmer, was hesitant but eventually lent his expertise to bring her vision to life. Together, they created “Mystery House,” touted as the first graphical adventure game.
