At its core, the 955 rule posits that 95% of your results stem from just 5% of your efforts. To illustrate, think of life as a boat. If you strike a rock and your boat begins to fill with water, the typical reaction would be to bail it out. However, those who excel in life focus on identifying and plugging the hole instead of merely managing the symptoms.

Despite their enthusiasm and capabilities, they were ultimately dismissed due to a failure to pause and analyze the underlying problems within the business. Instead, they busied themselves without the necessary focus and discipline to identify what truly needed attention.
