In a tense exchange with reporter Jeff Wineser, Monica insisted on her establishment's good track record, yet she was unable to provide evidence of cleanliness or compliance when asked. When Wineser pressed her on the inspection violations, her responses were defensive, dismissing them by stating, “Nobody speak English. She really crazy,” in reference to the inspector's accusations.
Another Establishment in Trouble
The dirty dining report did not end with Corporate Chef. The inspection team also visited the Express Caribbean Restaurant located at 1401 South State Road 7 in North Lauderdale. This establishment has a troubling history, having been ordered closed for the third time in less than a year due to rodent infestations.
