Proper Charging Practices
One of the most critical practices for Tesla owners is understanding battery maintenance. New owners often mistakenly assume that they can leave their car unplugged for extended periods. However, if a Tesla's battery completely drains, it can disable both the high-voltage and 12-volt batteries. This will make your vehicle inaccessible and very difficult to restart. If you're planning to leave your Tesla unused for a while, make sure to keep it plugged in—even to a slow wall charger.
