However, while there is optimism surrounding user growth, maintaining this momentum will be challenging. Spotify’s notable lead over competitors such as Apple Music in terms of subscriber base sustains its position in the market. Yet, as the podcast brought out, such dominance must be nurtured, especially in a rapidly evolving industry where new entrants, like Amazon Music Unlimited, also vie for market share.
