ADT went public again on January 18, 2018, after being privately held since a leveraged buyout by Apollo Global Management in 2016. Originally, the IPO was slated to be priced between $17 and $19 per share, but it landed at $14, raising approximately $1.5 billion. Despite the initial market capitalization reaching about $10.5 billion, the stock price has since declined, recently hovering under $8, bringing the market cap down to less than $6 billion.
