Part 2/11:
Sesame Street has long been a staple of educational children's programming, but its financial health appears to be waning. Historically supported by a mix of public contributions, corporate sponsorships, and licensing deals, the show’s funding has increasingly dried up. Notably, HBO's involvement as a distributor provided essential financial backing; however, that support has now ceased. In particular, Warner Brothers' decision not to renew the deal to fund new episodes after 2025 has struck a heavy blow, forcing Sesame Workshop to downsize significantly.
