An empowering message Rubin shares is that everyone is inherently artistic. Comparing oneself to an artist or “not being artistic enough” is misguided; there’s no such thing as a bad monk, only monks who do or do not embody their path. We all live creatively, whether or not we realize it. By acknowledging this, we can amplify our innate artistic qualities, enriching our relationships, communication, joy, and connection with nature.
