Part 2/11:
Miss Pat’s early life was marred by adversity. Growing up in a rough neighborhood, she endured abuse from her mother’s boyfriend, who molested her and her sibling from a young age. She vividly recounts how he would manipulate and exploit them, and how, despite the horrors, she found ways to survive. Her childhood was a cycle of violence, neglect, and resilience; she dropped out of school in the eighth grade after becoming pregnant with her first child at just 14.
Her stories aren’t simply about victimhood—they’re about the strength it took to survive. She turned her pain into humor later in life, using comedy as her therapy and healing tool. Her ability to laugh at her past has empowered her to inspire others facing similar traumas.
