Unlike the original He-Man series, which followed the familiar adventures on Eternia, this new series features a drastically different setting—an apparently cyberpunk wasteland where Eternia has been reimagined into a dystopian universe. The animation quality, however, is praised for being excellent compared to previous reboots, though the character designs and storylines are markedly different.
