In what can only be described as a controversial move, Disney intends to limit standby lines by imposing maximum queuing times or line-length caps. Rumors suggest that once a certain point is reached—say, after two hours—the line will be cut off, and no further guests will be allowed to join. To compensate, guests will be able to reserve “standby passes,” which are essentially timed entry slots, allowing them to return later for a designated ride period.
