Furthermore, Leslie herself is a bi-sexual actress playing a character described as a lesbian, fueling accusations of "queer baiting" or tokenism. Yet, it’s noteworthy that Leslie publicly accepted the role, seemingly unbothered by the character’s backstory, asserting her right to choose to play a complex, flawed character.
