Part 3/11:
Dyson claims this innovative setup yields approximately 2.5 times more strawberries than a traditional greenhouse—equating to about 1,250 tons annually. This high productivity raises the question: why does Dyson believe this approach will succeed where others have faltered?
Dyson’s Deep Roots in Innovation and Agriculture
James Dyson, the inventor of the iconic bagless vacuum and bladeless fan, isn’t traditionally associated with farming. However, his passion for the countryside was sparked during his youth on farms in North Norfolk, guiding him to invest in farmland starting in 2013. His holdings expanded to encompass 28,000 acres across various counties, including Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, and Gloucestershire.
