CNN’s Dana Bash attempted to contextualize the recent violence—highlighting the January 6th Capitol riot as the most violent event in recent history—yet critics accused her of propagandistic bias, claiming that she dismisses ongoing crime issues. Even more bizarre was the rant of a former TV personality, Jennifer Welsh, who bizarrely suggested that Trump-supporting white Americans should be boycotted from enjoying multicultural experiences like dining at Mexican or Chinese restaurants. Her comments were widely dismissed as unhinged and inflammatory.
