In contemplating the nature of thinking, it becomes apparent that humans often regard themselves as the quintessential thinkers. We take pride in our conscious reasoning, complex language, and problem-solving abilities. However, a deeper reflection invites us to broaden our perspective beyond human cognition and recognize that many other creatures also engage in forms of thought, even if they differ from ours.
