The misattribution of images feeds misinformation and inflames tensions.
Many such instances reveal that the facts are often in tension; multiple truths can exist simultaneously, complicating the narrative. The media's role in this is crucial, as it sometimes defaults to half-truths, which can be manipulated by actors with vested interests.
