Implementing this level of listening requires mindfulness and strategic focus. It involves:
Paying close attention to adjectives and tone of voice that may reveal unspoken concerns.
Noticing what is being emphasized versus what might be avoided or downplayed.
Recognizing the interplay of positive and negative aspects within a person's narrative or argument.
By doing so, a listener can intentionally guide discussions, addressing the real issues beneath surface claims, and fostering deeper understanding and effective problem-solving.
