Part 6/10:
Minneapolis’s decline accelerated after the George Floyd protests, which expedited its social and criminal crises. The city’s ultra-left city council disbanded and sought to abolish its police department, pushing law and order further into disarray. The Minneapolis Police Department publicly advised residents to expect muggings and robberies, essentially normalizing criminality. As a result, many of the city’s residents—particularly the affluent—have migrated elsewhere, leaving Minneapolis in a state of depopulation and chaos.
