According to reports from Adweek and TV Newser, the transition will officially commence on October 6th, with MSNBC gradually loosening its dependence on NBC News’s resources. By October 20th, the process will be complete, and MSNBC will operate fully independent, no longer relying on NBC correspondents or news crew support for domestic or international coverage—excluding coverage based in Washington, D.C., which will phase out by October 19th.
