Amazon’s goal appears to be creating a self-sustaining ecosystem where content serves as advertising for their broader platform.

Apple also jumped into the fray with its own studio, turning movie and TV production into yet another form of advertising for Apple products. Meanwhile, traditional studios have been dragged into this paradigm, often pouring enormous sums into content that is primarily designed to keep viewers hooked on specific platforms.
